Emergency support
A fire, an illness, an accident or another sudden crisis: family, a community or an association can raise support on Mesenaatti. We say up front what is quick and what takes time.

Mesenaatti is not an emergency relief organisation or a public authority. It is a crowdfunding platform where the campaign organiser tells the story in their own words and shares the campaign in their own networks.
The money does not arrive instantly. Once the campaign passes its minimum goal, the organiser verifies their identity on their Mesenaatti profile page, and only then can the funds be paid out. It pays to have the identification documents ready while the campaign is running.
80,300 € 1688 backers 50 days
44,008 € 352 backers 43 days
28,095 € 722 backers 26 days
26,800 € 305 backers 24 days
These are finished campaigns that passed their goal. Every campaign is different, and past results do not guarantee the next one.
The campaign can be published without a notification or permit. Supporters receive a reward in return, such as a thank-you or a product. Donations are not collected in this format.

The organiser is a group of at least three people or an association. The notification to the police must be made at least five working days before the collection begins, so file it right away.

A public-benefit organisation can collect donations with a permit from the police, without the 10,000-euro cap. If the organisation already holds a permit, the campaign can be run under it.

Mesenaatti does not give legal advice. Check the permit and notification rules in the National Police Board's guidance, and ask us if you are unsure before you publish the campaign.
Tell us about your project and we will work out a suitable way to raise funding.
